MilkHaven™ was created by Shannon Pratten, RN, IBCLC, a practicing NICU nurse, lactation consultant, and mother of three with more than 20 years of experience supporting mothers and newborns.
MEET THE FOUNDER
Shannon Pratten, RN, IBCLC
For more than two decades, Shannon Pratten has worked at the bedside as a NICU Registered Nurse and International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant, supporting mothers and babies through some of the most formative days of newborn life.
Raised in California, Shannon met her husband while working as a travel nurse in London, where she also began her own motherhood journey. She went on to have three water births and breastfed each of her children until age four.
Now rooted in the Lowcountry of South Carolina, Shannon runs a private lactation practice, primarily serving military families, while continuing to fly to Berkeley, California every six weeks to work NICU shifts. Her decades of clinical experience, motherhood, and lifelong commitment to intentional living ultimately shaped Milk Drunk Club and the creation of MilkHaven™.

MilkHaven™ is a reusable silicone breast milk storage system designed to simplify the way expressed milk is portioned, frozen, organized, thawed, and transferred.
Created after decades of watching families carefully manage breast milk through disposable bags and fragmented storage routines, MilkHaven brings those steps together in one thoughtfully designed system with silicone-only milk contact.
Individual 2 oz portions help families use only what they need, while the organized freezer system keeps milk visible and accessible without relying on stacks of single-use storage bags.
